Helmet Statement

 

WWDA requires that all participants in clinics and shows wear a properly fitted, securely fastened ASTM/SEI approved helmet while mounted on horses. Participant and participant’s parent or guardian are responsible to ensure the proper selection, fit and condition of any helmet, and WWDA is not responsible for checking helmets. WWDA makes no warranties about any helmet, as being aroundhorses is inherently dangerous and no helmet can protect against all injuries. Heeled footwear is required while mounted on a horse.
